INVITATION

The Internet plays a vital role both in Europe's and Luxembourg's economy as a driving force for growth and employment. At the same time new Internet services are being developed to give citizens a wider array of choices.

Hence the importance to anticipate in a timely manner the upcoming trends in the area of ICT-related services necessary to prepare the right technical, financial and political decisions.

Please join us at our conference about

Future Trends of the Internet

and the corresponding technological and regulatory challenges.

The day-long event is organized by Jean-Louis Schiltz, Minister of Communications, and Luxembourg for ICT*, in close cooperation with Prof. Thomas Engel and Latif Ladid of the University of Luxembourg.

In the course of the conference the Luxembourg IPv6 Forum will be officially launched.

The event takes place at the Centre culturel de rencontre - Neumünster Abbey (Salle A22) in Luxembourg-Grund on 28 January 2009.

All presentations and discussions will be in English.
